I agree the problems are years in the making, But Bin-Laden was very smart, he lured stupid Bush into Afghanistan and Iraq , then Launched a gorilla warfare on the US army, broke the army to pieces, made most of them into walki-talki ,, thousands more committed suicide, grave yard after grave yard of US military Machines in both countries, trillions wasted on a lost war .. What we face today has been decades in the making, came from both parties and derives from a huge change. We chose to live beyond our means and view government as a provider of goodies. We accepted ever increasing deficits without a thought as to the consequences. THAT’S our real problem – not some dead terrorist.
